It is where our lack of self-worth and certainty that no one will ever truly love us comes from. It is what wakes us up in the middle of the night with the terror of the reality that we really are going to die someday...all alone with a cat eating our face. When the Nine of Swords shows up in a reading it is a sure sign that inner fear and scary thoughts are affecting our situation. In a relationship reading this can be either yours or the other persons state of mind (or both). In your professional life it can show up as a paralyzing case of "impostor syndrome" Please realize that most of our worst case scenarios never happen.Working on your perspective and bringing your fears into light can help alleviate the heaviness of this card. Direct and honest communication with your sweetheart will work to alleviate relationship fears.
