Keywords: The Road to Recovery, The Worst is Over, Almost Home, Victim Mentality The Six of Swords is a welcome card after the strife and challenge of the Five. The worst is over, but you aren't home yet! You may have extricated yourself from a difficult job, relationship or addiction. Congratulations! You are on your way. You are rebuilding your life and stamina and finding your new direction. The one warning with this card is to not get stuck in asking "Why Me?" It's ok to feel this for awhile, but it is not a place to stay. You need to move into gratitude that you survived the bomb and everyday is one day further away from the destruction. Learn what you can and keep moving! You are sailing in smoother waters (and for some chaos junkies this may be uncomfortable) and be glad. Staying a victim to a past situation depletes your power and the energy you need to heal and progress. It may be temporarily satisfying to blame the other, but in the end it just drains your energy. Reversed: I don't use reverse cards, as every card has inherently positive and challenging aspects, depending on the client and the reading. |
