The Ten of Swords is the card of betrayal. Ouch. Someone or something has hurt you in a way that takes you completely by surprise and it feels like being stabbed in the back. They may have hurt you intentionally or unconsciously, but the result is deep pain. Sometimes it is so painful that you know you have to leave if you have any sense of dignity or self love. The dawn of the new day emerges. This card has a sunrise for a reason. Sometimes this card represents repetitive negative thoughts that are affecting your life. Our perspective is very important as we move through life. How we see things determines how we react to them and this in turn is why we make decisions and decisions create our life. Do not be a victim. There is no power in victim mentality. Look towards your beautiful new future. This is the rock bottom card of the deck. But when you bottom out there is no way out but up!! This pain makes you change and brings in the dawn of the new day.
Reversed: I don't use reverse cards, as every card has inherently positive and challenging aspects, depending on the client and the reading.
