The Lovers:
It is very auspicious to draw this card in a love reading, as the energy of this card confirms the attraction between two human souls. It is the card of committed love. Make sure you are trusting yourself when it comes to entering a relationship with another person. Don't let the tribe (family, society or religion) control your choice of partner. The two of you will combine in an alchemical way to become something larger together than when you are apart. The Lovers energy brings in the element of commitment to the feelings represented by the Ace and Two of Cups.

The Devil:
Some people may be surprised to see the Devil card listed as a love card, but in an otherwise positive reading it can be a great bonding energy. The Devil isn't afraid of sexuality, he embraces it. This card brings a primal energy to a love reading and adds another layer of connection through physical contact, sex and pleasure! Like the Two of Cups and the Lovers card , the two people in this image are facing each other. There can be an addictive element here, but as I say...Love is just another word for Obsession! The issue here is balance. Be happy you have found 'the one' but continue to have your own outside life too.

The Hierophant:
This card is a traditional marriage card. One of the meanings of the Hierophant is the continuation of ritual in society. If this card shows up with the 4 of Wands and Lovers cards than a commitment ceremony is probably in the works.

The Ten of Cups:
If this card shows up as the outcome of your reading, it is an excellent love omen. It is sometimes known as the 'happily ever after' card. The 10 of Cups is the final card in the suit of Cups and represents a happy transition in a love relationship. It represents two people who are seen as a couple by their larger community. This is the card everyone wants if they are looking for a cozy, long term relationship that is nestled in the safety of friends and family.

The Four of Wands:
The four of Wands is an excellent card to receive in a love reading. It shows a couple celebrating. It portends happy news...as such it is considered a marriage card. But there is a lightness of spirit here, you can almost hear the pair of lovers laughing with their friends and family. Whereas there is a gravity to the Lovers card...the pair probably had to make sacrifces to be together, the 4 of Wands is just pure joy!

The Six of Cups
Under certain circumstances, the Six of Cups can represent your soulmate. If this card shows up in conjunction with the Lovers card, it is a strong indicator of a karmic union. The Six of Cups is an echo and reinforcer of the Lovers card, which rules the number 6 in the tarot deck.
But beware if this card shows up with the Devil and/or the 7 of Cups because this represents the painful specter of unrequited love.
